The restaurant Tertúlia Algarvia will receive, during 2018, several presentations of the show cataPlay.

cataPlay is a stage play packed with duels, spells and contradictions, and performed by Mário Spencer and Tânia Silva. Mário plays the Famous Al-Chef and Tânia the Grumpy Cook.

At the end of the show, spectators can sample a cataplana made by the Tertúlia Algarvia team.

_SYNOPSIS:

In life, we are all consumed. Some more than others. By pleasure or torrid love. By envy or sheer evilness. By innocence or mere convenience.

Little or nothing is known about the cataplana. We do not know who created it or where their roots and origins lie. Man or woman? Arab or Algarvian? Chef or cook?  

The recipe for a good cataPlay is: 2 people, 5 cloves of garlic, 1 conflict, a variety of sounds, 2 points of view and 1 personal touch.
